Laughter yoga exercises which use childlike humor get the giggles flowing, followed by deep breathing exercises, and end with a small meditation.
The “yoga” part has to do with breathing, not actual yoga poses.
Laughter Yoga is great for all ages and mobility types.
You need just lungs to breathe, the ability to laugh and the openness to allow yourself to be silly and laugh.
The best part is even if you don’t find the exercises funny enough to bring on a true belly laugh
it doesn’t matter!
It has been scientifically proven that your body does not know the difference between a real laugh and a fake laugh. What that means is your body will give you all of the amazing physiological benefits of laughing whether your laugh is real or fake.
